Shopping CartZantaveGaming: A real one is speaking, be quiet and listen
Watermelon_Man: We doing surprise drops now!?!!!?
ianroyce4051: I’m so watching this while I write my final psychology paper for my degree. Dude you have inspired me in a hard time with these videos. I’m giving psychological studies all I got.
Also I would love to see you do armored core, especially with the fact you unlock more stories and endings as you beat the game over and over again.
Upsilon1984: Defending Jarburg is the best example of "The tale of House Hoslow is told in blood"
ChristmasEveEve2: this is so refreshing to see. so many times I've seen people only play Elden ring as a boss rush game and rarely pay attention to the npc's and story, just spamming through dialogue.
Eris_the_Chaotic: My darling, the moment you chose to play the games, you were a part of the community. That's my take on it. I'm happy you realized the headassery; some never do. Watching your Souls journey so far has been an absolute joy. Not because you were a super-competitive player, but because of the thought and passion and insight you bring to them. If I may be so bold, I'd even say you're one of the best of us because you're You and because you aren't some competitive player.
This was fantastic and I'm glad you had an incredible team of mods to help nudge you where you needed it, and who were ready to jump in to help. I can hardly wait for the DLC video to drop. I'm anxious to hear what you thought of it.
8TrJn8W0i: I was not ready for you to drop this Odyssey on me but here we go!
River_Lurker: I think every Souls player goes through that phase of "I have to Git Gud and just do it myself." I certainly did, and that does have it's uses, however, when things feel bleak, the Jolly Cooperation is there to help. Especially against Malenia. She killed me over 200 times in my blind run, and I beat her by using Ironjar Armomatics to tank through WFD, and the Blasphemous Blade to Heal myself back up and knock her down. I'm not proud of it, but it did the job. Never feel bad about cheesing a boss, they certainly won't feel bad about cheesing you.
This video was excellent. I can't wait for the DLC.
AdamCBM: Holy shit bro I wasn't ready for the drop!!!
Lfg!!!!!!
ArthaCel: I love watching how different the beginning of the journey is for everyone. The fact that you did all of that before meeting Melina is truly awesome and funny. This video already owns
Shaovv: 1:06:26 Radagon's Soreseal, Fia's std, and below 40 vigor... Classic Elden Ring first experience
B2411s: I have always seen Rani as just another person that thinks they know better than everyone else and is not afraid of doing everything in her reach to accomplish what she wants without worrying about the consequences.
Yes, the golden order was flawed, it was really bad for many, including omens, albenaurics and merchants. But most of everyone else was ok. Meanwhile Rani's treason caused the shattering that made everything worse for literally everyone, the few that where good before now suffered with no ending in sight, and the oppressed stayed oppressed.
She killed her own family because she didn't want her destiny, but instead of just getting away like miquela she made it everyone else's problem.
She IS two faced, she acts cold and then she reveals she is not... But she already lied once, what assures that she isn't lying again? That she doesn't care for anyone else and just says sweet things to make sure you make her biding? At the end of the day she is willing to sacrifice the entire world to accomplish her goals, that's not a person that can be trusted.
Now, about the omen, they are not the people with animal traits that you heard about, those are the crucible knights, the omen are children cursed to eternal suffering. Like, even the guys that venerated the horns call the omen a curse.
It's also a shame you didn't do fia's quest line to see the consequences of rani's treason more in depth, or met the dung eater (I would have loved to see your reaction to him)
Sargaxiist2022: I literally just walked in the house from work and took off my boots.
This is gonna be good.
Edit:
Man, as one of the older and OG members of the Fromsoft fandom, like Kingsfield type OG.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE who tries to say that there is a "wrong way" to play the game or any of that stuff is projecting their own insecurity and desperation to be acclaimed and accepted onto others.
The whole point of these games is to share the incredible feeling of struggling and overcoming challenges. These games are designed to be tackled by many different people who think and act completely different from each other. Some people need to struggle alone to grow, some people need to be shown that they are not alone in their struggle. As long as you feel fulfilled by the end of the game, you played correctly. Whether alone or with others, if youre smiling on the other side, you made it.
"To feel fulfilled, you must first have a goal that needs fulfilling. At the same time, it must actually be possible to fulfill said goal." — Hidetaka Miyazaki
The only limit is yourself.
dgongwer: I love seeing your take on these games. There is a lot of patience to go in blind. Only did DS1 and half of Elden Ring blind. It was such a frustrating and amazing experience. I’m glad your having fun on the journey :)
critfailgames: I literally just finished your Bloodborne video yesterday, realized you didn't have Elden Ring up yet, and assumed that this was likely months away.
I'm so hyped and I haven't even started the video yet.
darthplagueis13: During an early access build, Varré straight-up tells the player they should "feel free to go die in a ditch somewhere."
On full release, that line was gone. Someone probably figured it was a bit too harsh.
jamesc.7216: Snap to attention. The video dropped!
CarianStargazer: This one's gonna help me get through the work day, appreciate it. Looking forward to it
taiyokashikoi: i watched the ds3 one yesterday and can't wait to complete this one aswell...love your explanations as a therpaist, it makes me look at the soulslikes in a different way, makes me like them even more :3
DefinitelyNotJohnt: As someone who has spent over 30,000 total hours across the 6 soulsborne games doing various challenges and no hit runs, this series has done a great job at reiginiting my love for the stories these game have. Thanks bro
Nerazmus: Beware of Kindness, for there is nothing more terrifying.
Nerazmus: Entering Limgrave is the peak moment.
You crawl out of a pretty Souls-like cave, and suddenly you are greeted by this vast open expanse unlike anything in Souls.
And your eyes immediately jump to the giant golden tree in the distance. You don't know what that thing is yet, but you sure as hell know it is important. On the other side of the screen, you see this big castle, which you will soon learn is your first major objective.
But the game also foreshadows the very end. If you look beyond the Erdtree, in the distance you can spot the Forge of the Giants.
I wonder how long they spent compositing this specific scenery.
pondertheorbsdaily: Only in silence words are laid.
In dark light prevail.
In death another lord is born.
On clear night sky bright are the stars.
tabletopnephilim4633: How many times do we need to teach you this lesson, old man?! JOLLY!!! COOPERATION!!!!
TuffProphet13: Awesome vid. Elden Ring was one of the motivations for losing a lot of weight; it changed me as a person. Glad you enjoyed the game
CrowstepXanth: Congrats Lazarus, it was a grand journey you made many good choices for your first playthrough. if you ever do a ng run... May Chaos Take the World!
killerkurd100: Been waiting a long time for this and it did not disappoint! Thank you for all the hard work you put through all of this
