I misunderstood Elden Ring.

Crit-Multiplier: ''Were gonna do vigor'' is one of the smartest things ive heard a newer player say

Crit-Multiplier: So glad you gave it another shot. Great content sir

ultratoppie9158: Just finished the first video, now this is perfect timing

noahthemanimator3170: I haven’t seen anyone else mention it yet but gaol is just an alternate spelling of jail and is pronounced the same way, so the evergaols you’re finding are jail cells for the bosses in them

scorpion3128: You know what, massive respect for willing to read comments and take feedback to give the game another shot.

The learning curve for soulsborne games is brutal but once you get it everything feels a lot better

ilovesupershotgun5200: You got done dirty at the end with liurnia of the lakes reveal. That’s one of the best views in the game and it’s covered in fog

BubimedesOfficial: I'm glad you came back to Elden Ring. I want to mention a few things...

1.) You missed like HALF of Castle Morne. At the very back, there's a broken wall and beyond it is a site of grace. Jump the wall, rest, and descend. Enjoy what follows >:)

2.) The claw mark seal is actually a "weapon" so that you can use incantations. Magic as a whole is split into 2 categories (for the most part). There's incantations (which typically include short range fire based attacks and assorted buffs) and there's sorceries (which typically include longer range attacks); tldr, incantations shoot out red stuff and require seals while sorceries shoot out blue stuff and require staffs (like the demi-human queens staff)

3.) The green turtle talisman is basic but VERY good overall. The radagon's scarseal is VERY good for the first half of the game, but come the second half it does more harm that good.

4.) The giant jar that you helped out of the hole, his name is Alexander and you should ABSOLUTELY help him out whenever you can and interact with him whenever you can.

5.) Outside of a few instances, you can permanently take down skeletons. After killing a skeleton, you'll see a white/blue glow. You need to hit that glow, which will prevent them from coming back. Basically, zombieland rules, always double tap.

6.) As long as you keep your equip load under 70% of your total, you'll continue to roll at the same speed. Basically, the total of what you have equipped (not carrying, only what you're wearing and holding in your slots) divided by your max carry weight should be less than 70%

I know this was long but I truly hope this helps your journey out and enjoy the game!

P.S., hang onto EVERY larval tear your find, they can help you respec your stats if you decide to try out other builds during your game.

dragonthezballzfortnight4917: It’s so fun to watch another person experience this game for the first time. I was much in the same boat where when I played it initially it sort of wore me out and I stopped playing, but then a year or two ago I got back into it and now I’ve platinumed Elden ring and I’m planning to platinum every single fromsoft game! It’s a great journey so stick to it. You won’t regret it!

Lardzor: If you two-hand the Bloodhound's Fang, then the L2 button uses a skill attack where your character does a high-damage slice attack and a back-flip that moves your character some distance back. But if you immediately follow the back-flip by pressing R2 (heavy attack) you get a follow up high-damage attack that actually 'teleports' your character forward before striking. It's very effective at catching enemies off-guard, and it can even 'teleport' through an incoming attack.

LordVirginPepper: Best advice I can give is to just enjoy the game however you like and expect to die, don't get angry at dying

Malaky_1098: When killing skeletons you can attack the souls to kill them. You can also dodge to get back up quicker if your on the floor

Crit-Multiplier: 6.30 there's a hidden path that leads behind the castle to another part of castle mourne. Hard to notice, i think it was close to edgar

MachiavellianMandate452: Don't feel too bad; the Soulsborne games are a very SPECIFIC breed of difficult and obtuse with their lore and how things connect. Many people who might have LOVED it have probably bounced off because they either didn't learn or didn't have someone to help them figure it out and so they just bounced off it and let it be. So glad you gave it another try and I am looking forward to the video

Addition: Also, the high you get from conquering that one asshole boss who killed you like 20 times or more has no equal

xtremechamphd9271: you missed a great boss at castle morne that drops a really good weapon

alexdemaplays7973: Bloodhounds fang has a very good ability when pressing LT and then RT.

potnation_420: He learning yes plz keep trying it's hard but so fun

Ex_Caseus_Fortis: 1 hp and a dream.

michealmcginnis7038: Fun fact with the skeleton enemies, after they fall and start glowing with ghostflame, slapping them while they glow kills them for good.

DallasPurdum: It's great to see From still working its magic on new players. Once you "get it", you can't get enough of it. People may love a blind playthrough, but we also love helping nudge the uninitiated into the mindset these games require! It's old-school with a modern paint job.

TheOnlyEB11: Your build decides how hard the game is. Make sure you explore more if you're struggling on a boss enjoy this beautiful game brother

HEXAN-SC: This game is what people say silksong is to me, there is so much room to grow when you explore an absolute gold mine of unique playstyles abilities, customization bosses and just areas, to me it's honestly like the game expects you to explore everything down to weeping peninsula before even taking on Margit at stormveil

Great to see you found what'cha need to like it your way

lokipower8329: Yo I’m really glad you came back to this game, don’t listen to what some people may say about bleed or summons being broken, just do what’s fun. I do recommend the claymore that’s in castle Morne

helemikro8485: i literally just finished the first video like an hour ago lol this is great timing

slayer4880: As someone who has over 500h and beat the game 17 times 4 things 1: upgrade your weapon asap bloodhound fang is unbelievably op 2: get bloodflame blade it's something you use to equip on your bloodhound fang you have to use a seal to equip it "rest at grace and go to memorize spell and select bloodflame blade when you get it" 3: use the AoW! (AoW = ash of war) The built in one for the bloodhound fang is OP it's LT on a controller hit LT and then RT for a combo and 4: have fun and don't stress if you can't kill a boss go explore. Can't wait for the next video !

Jrrobins99: This video makes me want to play Elden ring for the first time again. But this is a great video I’m shocked you don’t have at least 1k subscribers. It’s going to be very fun watching you play the rest of the game. Also in liurnia I’m not going to say where but in a village surrounded by poison lakes there will be a secret guy waiting for you that will you give you half an item for another secret area way later on in the game.
