Try the Pata, one handed, with Cragblade. Use a shield in the other hand. Mix charged heavies with guard counters/deflecting and you'll be breaking stance constantly due to the fast charged heavies.

thepainphantom: The thrusting talisman is only active when you trade hits with your enemies. It has no function at all if you don't do such and equipped it.

Deflecting with the Shadow Sunflower Blossom, Great Stars, Anvil Hammer, Pickaxe, or a one handed hammer build with Cragblade - charged heavies or guard counters on hammers deal 36 stance damage. 10 % from Cragblade and they're rounded up to 40. So stance break in two hits on most bosses.
