Hidden Places and Secret Details up close Nightreign Elden Ring

CanadianMoose272: I'm glad someone is posting the visuals/lore! I wish there was a single-player mode where I could pause and just take in the scenery. I feel so stressed and rushed with the timer!

blockhead134-x9p: The first tree you show is a cradle ready to receive a newborn god. That's what the swelling above it is. A god of night is about to get born. That's also what we seem to be trying to stop - an age of night, so the Erdtree can grow. I believe the swelling is purposefully looking both like a dew that's about to drop and pregnancy. It won't be the first time when they've played with night skies and human bodies. Miyazaki has talked about how he wanted the sky in Bloodborne to look like a corpse drained of blood. All nightlords also change the sky of the entire game to fit with their theme and the age they are about to bring about.

antobatta1551: Another cool detail is that the Castle is growing silver barks, because of what the cutting gifted tribe entombed under it.

And the fact that it is silver is very telling, especially like the cord end that mimics golden/red braids

MiquellasAltAccount: Who knows what else is left to discover?

vergil8833: The giants skin looks alot more like that DLC sword that can become either light or dark, it has that swirling look when it is unsheathed, same as the giant does under the roots.

PirateFeZ: From Soft crafts such detailed and creative worlds.

realm087: Why does Augur look so much like the Elden Beast?

hythan9198: The two jutting shoots/obelisks/pointy bits in the spirit sanctuary always reminded me of the Scadutree, as either a sapling or as a mostly withered husk, but a proto-divine gate built almost literally on the back of an outer god makes sense!

It also explains why outer gods so frequently are tied to physical ascension by Empyreans.

I wonder if a blank spirit field like this is what Marika saw when she used the gate, the realm the Elden Beast came from, and the realm Miquella travels to before his return. Perhaps also the realm inside the Erdtree and Elden Beast arena

The outer god fragment being said to have a particular lifelessness to it makes me wonder if this first god was the twinbird, envoy of Death, counterpart to the more pacified Rauh god/goddess and the Rot/Life. I believe Recluses staff mentions it was a tool to calm storms and bring life, and was turned into a weapon that causes death, and the Pinion Folk who her child decimated, having similar design patterns to Rauh.

Perhaps Recluses shadow eating child is the explanation for the downfall of the original Order overseen by Rauh, maybe also the sin of the Nox, and the disparity of Light and Shadow we now see in mainline ER

Edit:

Something I just realized while playing base game. The Evergaols are another example of an open circle holding or containing something immaterial in the center. The evergaols create a gateway to another veiled realm alongside the material world. And the entities inside emerge from a Heolstor like portal in the ground, and materialize from shadow/night.

SchoolOfGroovinMages: One cool thing ive noticed, after Fulghor does his big attack he shoots out miranda flower particles, and the spears that shoot out after are all tipped with what look like the baby miranda sprouts.

robertrohm3559: Im very glad to be one of the first comments here. Also i love how day 3 has a huge kiln of the first flame vibes plus the end dlc boss arena from ringed city DLC

Sunny-jk3pq: I wonder if there is a way to get the all red goblet. It's the only one we are missing and there is a space for it on the jar merchant's inventory.

D_HYD: souls and holes

jacobbenjamin2664: Everybody SHUT UP my show is on!

Also Infa idk if you know yet but there is a creator on here named Five Glasses of Milk who released a REALLY good video today about the giants in Nightreign and he credits you a lot!! If you havent watched it already I think youll be REALLY interested in their point of view. They made some revelations on the Cutting-Gifted Tribe that made my chin smack the floor lmao.

Wizzwealth: For some reason , Trina’s dialogue instantly played in my head , as I viewed the yellow orb behind the 2d model .. some sort of eternal prison forever tied to all of Elden ring universe , unable to engage directly , but guide us to grace .. just amazing of what’s left to discover

giantenemyfool: Hello, may you please take a look at the sword which Heolstor uses? One of them in particular has a very interesting buttress and hilt that evokes a familiar yet mysterious entity, whose depiction in CFA matches with pretty well.

This subtle detail gives me an idea that the Twinbird’s Outer God might play a significant role in the game, with the Twinbird itself being the equivalent of Heolstor’s Elden Beast.

The suspicious exclusion of Heolstor not having a third phase in the files or OST makes me suspect a true final boss later down the line…

Night and Death share many connections among each other and am wondering what you think of all this.

КузнецовНиколай-ж1ж: I have a question regarding one of your previous videos, one about Metyr and the Stormveil castle. The idea of there being a rebellion against Metyr and giants is great but some things remain unclear to me.

First, why are Stormveil castle and giants covered in thorns? It can be somehow explained in case of giants but what about Metyr's headbut holes in Stormveil's walls?

Second, according to your theory the giant were wiped out by the ghostflame followers. If so, then why are they impaled by the stakes of the giant flame cult?

rainbowkrampus: I'm starting to see that mass of clouds in the skybox before the nightlord as some sort of fetus/placenta/larval tear.

The implication I gather from Wylder's ending is that he was possibly Heolstor or else, Wylder and Duchess are Heolstor, in every instance. The whole game taking place in a recursive dream or memory. The nightlords are responsible for keeping the dream/memory going. The nightlords then are possibly all of the nightfarers. They are past iterations of them where they chose to keep the dream/memory going rather than end it.

shhwonk: Amazing video.

But what is the music??

ultragamer4465: Imagine if they add more lore in the upcoming updates

embargovenom9948: Ah, you should've done a closeup of the secret cave!

Banuune: Yay
