tarille1043: Something that doesn't often get brought up but is a goated Greathammer build is Pickaxe with Prayerful Strike.

The massive healing from PS lets you trade easily, which sets up for the Counterhit damage. Whilst also doing a bunch of stance because Greathammer (Even though it's literally an axe...)

Very effective build that's easy enough to play, just spam L2 and watch bosses fall down.

I haven't used axes that much but I've heard that they are really mid while great thrusting swords are generally regarded as amazing and I love epee and the helice. And on paper axes don't seem like they'd be that good on the account of lower range and lack of pierce damage. Are axes actually that much better than I had been lead to believe?

Dasfrogyo: I personally think great katanas are #1. Busted range, has pierce dmg, and overall just a weebs wet dream. shocked to see them pretty low on the list. Great video nonetheless love the work you do!

Sasha_trans_fenix: 20:41 hard disagree, hammers and in particular the Stone Club can get some straight up oppressive 2-handed DPS while still being able to get insane stance damage, something you can’t do with say greathammers or colossal hammers, making them one of the few weapons in the game that are amazing both for DPS and stance breaks.
