Elden Ring's been out for a good while now, and there are plenty of ways to play it. and with the kind of game it is, it deserves some respect, and not be played on something like the switch given at best, their performance is mid for third party games.

I'm not saying people aren't allowed to play it, because I think more people should at the very least, give it a try, fan of souls games or not

but I don't agree with the idea that you're paying for a lesser version, that's even more unoptomized from a group who while make good games, aren't always polished per say.

it's kind of like someone getting mad driving on a trail because the road is bumpy, when they're driving a golf cart. the road itself has problems, yes, but you're not helping yourself with your choice of vehicle.

I'm a die hard Nintendo fan myself but I did play elden ring on my ps5 when it came out . If someone has a switch 2 as their only gaming device it would be a shame to miss out on elden ring but on the other hand I'm also a souls fan and I have to be honest: from soft isn't really that good at making ports .

sunshineandrei2569: They're just bad at ports, elden ring ran worse than this on the steam deck until valve personally stepped in. So it's really not the switch 2's fault here. It's Nintendo's dev kits and fromsoft being shit at port optimization like always.
