고르덴Goruden: I’m glad I got to see you and Gigi at AGF 2025 in Korea. I like Rock In and have been listening to it a lot recently. So happy we got to hear it at the event!

Here are some recommendations of Korean foods that you asked for in the AGF video.

- If you like japchae ("잡채"), it actually tastes even better when made with American spinach instead of Korean spinach.

- The tuna kimbap ("참치 김밥") mentioned at the event goes really well with jjolmyeon ("쫄면"). Similarly, combinations like or are also great. Restaurants usually offer these combos together.

- Koreans enjoy eating raw fish differently than in Japan. We tend to like spicy sauces, so I’d recommend hwedupbap ("회덮밥") or the spicy soups ("매운탕", not "동태탕") you can get at sashimi restaurants.

- Budae jjigae ("부대찌게") was actually created during the Korean War by US soldiers stationed here, so it tends to be popular among Westerners.

- If you like japchae ("잡채"), you might also enjoy japchae-bap ("잡채밥") —it’s usually served at Korean-style Chinese restaurants, but finding a really good one can be tricky.

- Unlike Western restaurants where steak is served cooked, in Korea you often grill the meat yourself. Many foreigners enjoy Korean BBQ. Popular side dishes are gyeranjjim ("계란찜") and doenjang jjigae ("된장찌개").

- On the streets, small stalls often sell hotteok ("호떡"), which has honey inside. It’s really tasty but be careful—it’s served piping hot right after cooking!
