Elden Ring Nightreign Story Endings Explained

3LudLust: I use this dudes videos to sleep, it took me like 3 months to finish the metal gear video

hrknesslovesu: Real ending: After surviving the battle royale ring, the nightfarers nightfare all over the nightlord and hit a griddy and floss dance at the end.

ErgoSum2603: Maybe since the tarnished never appeared in this timeline, the Nox did find out how to make their Night Lord. And that gave way not only to the city, but the ruin the world fell upon. It would also explain the amalgamation of beings, being like the mimics from base Elden Ring.

rotunel7677: for the executor i think the story is he comes from the lands of reeds and upon seeing the erdtree beccame infatuated by it and somehow got drafted/join the crucible knights. one day he got an order to kill a painter, when he sees this painter that painting an erdtree the executor who are a painter himself are curious and let the painter live to finish the painting before he killed her. along the way the executor become friends with the painter and somewhat forgot his order to kill her. thats when the crucible knights sends other knight to kills this painter. in the end the executor failed to protect his friend, the painter. feeling remorse the executor commit seppuku but failed to die

Getwright-: Libra is also a reference to Baphomet who’s also goat headed and associated with Balance

tyomega9939: Helped a lot by some theorizing on the elden ring lore subreddit, but I honestly believe that in the despair of what transpired and trying to commit Seppuku to atone for his actions/failure, that the Executor, his armor, AND the body of the painter fused together to be reborn in the form he has now.

IMO it explains his confused and conjoined memories, along with his much more softer than expected face structure and features despite the deep voice he has. A mixture just like the crucible.

Grizzly42665: Damn, already? Keep up the good work man, I hope you’ll make a Lies of P: Overture video soon.

dominickroberts4653: The revenant is the strongest cutie in fromsoft history

yuel8428: Edgar Northerncroft is most likely to be Chloe's grandfather, not her father, as mentioned in Revenant's journal.

There is theory about the assailant being Chloe's actual father because it would make sense for Revenant/Daphne to pursuit the Nightlords for corrupting her house rather than pinning that exact assailant.

PolkadotKakamond: I really like how easy it is to digest the story compared to others fromsoft games.

Awaken_To_0: On the Revenant: There is a tradition in Japan that a well loved and maintained household objects can be imbued with a spirit and thus object can come to life. I think they're called "Tsukumogami."

They can range pretty wildly, umbrellas (Kasa-obake), tools, clothes, and , I would assume, a doll or puppet so long as it was lovingly taken care of.

TekharthaMondatta: I don't see why Nightreign needs to be a separate timeline tbh. All things considered, it could easily be a prequel to Elden Ring set some time between the Shattering and the base game. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that directly contradicts this, but I could easily be wrong.

brendanmuller7301: Id like to mention heolstors sword isnt the darkmoon greatsword. We can find the darkmoon greatsword in nightreign. The blade shape, runes, and hilt are completely different. You must remember the darkmoon greatsword is "A" moonlight greatsword as per the description of the sword. There are others including the one radagon transformed and likely others beyond that considering it was a ritual to give one away, and rituals often go beyond 2 people.

spencer9745: Small point of clarity: it is implied to be the father of Chloe who kills the family. The man with the beard in the paintings is the grandfather of Chloe, the one who gifted her the Doll. This would make the brown haired man at the right age to be the father

hypogreen6475: We love you man

TheHopefulOne13: I love your detailed explanations of the storylines of these games! Please keep up your awesome work :)

ethanali8004: Been waiting for this lore vid for a hot minute :)))

DevonYami: We do know the man from Daphne's recollection was night crazed. You can literally see the night's blue flame and rain outside.

mikeshogunlee: I like the idea of the story Executor being that;

He was an executionor who came to kill the paintress,

He offered to wait for the paintress to finish her painting before killing her,

As he waited he fell in love with her and decided not to kill her,

The paintress knew that someone else would come along to finish the job the Executor wouldn't so she left him a sketch and a sword to give him a purpose when she was gone.

AlanTrezit34: once again i am so impressed the game just dropped 2 weeks ago and already evrything has been solved by gingi and posted it just a week after his doom retrospective even if he has a team it s just down right impressive

variskys8445: i came to the same conclusion you did with the "main" ending of the game, it really did seem like that because of the nightfarers ability to defeat the night aspect, it prevented the night from ever entering the lands between

MordecaiSPM: Guess what, the giant at the Dawn cutscene exist, somewhat.

If you go to Zullie's video title, "Elden Ring - It barely still exist"

There is a giant out there with roughly the size as the Nightlord in the middle of the far ocean.

We know that The Land Between isn't the only Land but there are a lot of Lands out there unexplored like The Badland.

Nightreign might be one of the places far away from The Land Between, and Dawn Ending confirmed my theory personally.
