1) Wraith calling bell is very strong on recluse because it has low fp consumption and moderate magic damage early game. It also benefits from “walking” buffs. You can either find it in a gravestone or use a relic to start with it. This can also help you conserve starlight shards for the final boss.

2) FP increase with 3 seals equipped Relic grants 10 points of mind which is huge for a fp constrained class.

After playing every nightfarer and full remembrances... I can say Revenant needs support so bad. This sucks because I do genuinely love her and think she's a unique character but she's just in such bad spot right now which is so silly because whenever you fight her in PvP remembrances she's so strong summoning all three of her spirits and abusing rings of light. Then you when you play as her she's severely nerfed. I understand if she could do what she does in PvP in PvE she might be overpowered but right now she's just a way weaker version of Recluse.

I found the only way the make her viable is using the wraith calling bell and abusing it while buying as many starlight shards as you can find in the mission. Then as you said getting a backup bleed or rot weapon when shes out of FP with a shield - but at that point you're just playing like a deprived version of Wylder / Guardian. Trying to beat the final boss with her was a nightmare too it was the only time I really needed teammates to help carry me because as soon as she's out of FP and FP shares she's basically useless. I think she just needs a rework, or a gem that allows her to summon more than one spirit at a time OR a way for her to get FP back without buying shards like Recluse can.

As of right now I think the best way to play Revenant is just playing Recluse instead until they hopefully buff her.

Xeo7: My biggest tip for Revenant personally, is actually more so for teammates playing alongside her. LET HER GET THE FINAL HIT ON ENEMIES! Her passive of necroing enemies she kills personally with a melee final hit is absurdly powerful if used smartly. As this video shows in the beginning with that necroed Crystal boss. You can do it to a lot more things than you'd initially assume, like mini bosses. And having a free mini boss summoned buddy is almost always a good thing. I personally actually really like her starting claws too, if upgraded and with a good status on them. Poison, Frost, or especially Bleed. They have surprisingly great range and when two-handed, they double the damage, no exaggeration.

joshuamagruder2241: I enjoy playing revenant because she ends up being incredibly flexible. Usually you want to cast, so your melee weapon can just be anything, so youre free to kinda figure out what you want to contribute to the team. A colossal for extra stagger damage or if you run out of fp, a fast weapon for quicker mob clearing as you run through or one that has fp regain on attack or something. Some of the best runs ive had is as Revenant and getting Silurias tree spear and just spamming the weapon art.

lordbackpain: I don't like the starting weapon either, especially the slow swinging speed. Miquella relic sword, coded sword etc. are really nice I think.

xomyers: the default weapon is great for reviving

AieliaPoot: Revenant is actually easy to build and get good spells. the most common black flame and lightning spear is already good and usually the seals are color blue so all you have to do is go to the mine and get a smithing stone and upgrade it. I usually take melee weapons with status effect and has element on it ex. magic/lightning/fire or holy grave scythe and has bleed/poison/frost. All relics I use have 3 or 2 vigor and a small pouch at every start of expedition, I prefer a tanky revenant over a glass canon and you can find a lot of weapon with good passives so you don't need to put any relics that ups your damage. If you want a 100% starlight shard drop just go to a rise and unlock it, there's 3 boxes there that you can loot and gives you 8-10 starlight shards.

Rapier summon (VERY) slowly heals for example.

erjstreaming: The "fastest" way to buff the revenant would be to gain FP everytime one of your summons hit an enemy. It would be on par with Recluse's skill then.

Especially because she' has the best outfits and we all know the end game of Souls game is Fashion.

I don’t use the skeleton other than when I’m about to ult cuz that is about all it’s good for. Tends to draw aggro down range for a min with it.

FafexYabin: One more thing to consider is using Wraith Calling Bell. It is easly found on graves and can be provided as starting bonus with relics.

It has great mana to damage ratio.
