Also I think rebalancing single player and adding 2 player will give people more options on how to play, which is what FromSoft games are about: freedom.

Edit: I mean freedom in terms of build. FromSoft games have some of the most diverse build capabilities in gaming. I understand that the world of Nightreign is quite restricting

_antonio_4915: People need to understand this game for what it is — it’s not meant to be Elden Ring 2 with new bosses, enemies, and traditional character progression. It’s an experimental side project focused on co-op gameplay. Considering it’s only been three years since Elden Ring, it makes sense that we’re getting this as a bridge while we wait for FromSoftware’s next major release. That said, I do think the roguelike elements and randomization could use some refinement.

aaronyxx: Played a while yesterday. It’s super different, but it’s GOOD that it’s so different. Game Journalists pretty much never rate games good nowadays.

The only thing that’ll make Nightreign better is when they add a duos mode, rebalance solo a bit because it's BAD right now, and then keep up with adding new things to the game, like more preset characters, weapons, and maybe other bosses.
