Elden Ring Nightreign Bosses Ranked from Worst to Best

Oknahidwin: I cant fathom how the fromsoft b team were able to come up with bosses this creative and good. Like omg miyazaki is covered even after he retires. With this much creativity and talent i can see fromsoft being a top game developer for decades to come. Heolster is definitely in my top 15 soulsborne bosses ever

thecenturion101: Heolstor has a ton of depth for his fight, a lot of the swings can be jumped and in general he's a great fight and I do agree with your takes overall so nice ranking.

leo-shun: Putting a dog at the bottom, a couple of bugs straight down the middle, and a goat on top. Its just animals out here.

cat6833: I find the night lords very fun but one thing I enjoy is how some old bosses got new tools, like the Godskin Duo gaining new moves etc.

I look forward for phase 3 nightlords but I hope they spice up the Night bosses has well, maybe make them more difficult but offer more rewards. Right now the Nightlords are the only real roadblock players with have to deal with.

TheLastGame666: I'll never understand the Maris hate, genuinely a chill and cool fight.

zaynthemane: I mean, I get your criticism for Heolstor. He’s very fanservice-y and basically feels like a DS3 boss. That being said, this entire game is built on fanservice and just having mindless fun. It’s not pretending to be anything deeper than it actually is. As far as fanservice goes, Heolstor is how you do it right. Very fun and fair moveset, amazing visuals, amazing OST. His moveset isn’t super complex, but it doesn’t need to be. This isn’t the game for that. And for what it’s worth, there are some pretty creative jump and strafe openings. He’ll also more than likely get a few more moves in the upcoming patch. Only thing he’s lacking in imo is lore and dialogue. Wish he talked before the boss fight like Libra.

He’s pretty easily the best boss in the game imo. Libra and Fulghor are next up. I think Libra is awesome as well but he’s just nowhere near as cinematic.

Kinda surprised with how low you had Caligo. Caligo seems to be the second best boss by consensus, although I’d put Caligo below Libra and Fulghor.

Romb772: It is raining knights....under the reign of this night....

shutup.001: hello mmagicat, great vid as always, would you consider ranking the entire lies of p boss roster when the dlc come out? ive heard your original ranking of the base game bosses has changed since then and i would be really happy to see you revisit the fights

mightaswell: I find it super ironic how he finds the most likely manufactured, artificial nightlord the Nox wanted as artificial and manufactured

deliriushunter: nightreign gaming with Delirius Big T and Magicat

RealVoidMarvin: Magicat! The telegraph for Gnosters roar attack is his tail rattling! It is both a visual and auditory cue that lasts a good couple seconds, which is more than enough time to run away from it. I dont know how so many people miss this and call it a poorly telegraphed move

grayhat_9x: Gnoster is worst boss I've seen in a while

shinyhydreigon7257: Damn, couldn't agree more about Heolster, I thought I was the only one with that opinion tbh.

megoodatgame8535: I think Libra is a perfectly executed boss. From his moveset, music, and his whole theme of balance. It’s all so well done and makes him by far the most unique and memorable boss. He’s also the hardest in the game for sure

someguythatdoesstuff7658: Playing with randos is underrated. Because of the online community being solely cooperative, you're bound to meet folks that will help each other with the minimal communication available. Honestly better than solo.

xiphi7138: Really enjoyed this ranking ! Maris not bottom is a nice surprise, I think she's my least favourite of the nightlords, but to me she's really far from being one of the worst fights in Fromsoft existence. I love her mechanics and the atmosphere is amazing. Seeing Gnoster this high is also really cool, I love the mechanical depth of those insects. And also really happy to see my goat Libra as number one

TerminalAgressor: These bosses are all going to be so amazing once they get their 3rd phase nightmare versions. The only thing holding them back right now is a lack of complexity and difficulty, once that is introduced there is no way they won't be peak. Also underrated ranking, I see so many people put Maris at dead last, and Heolster in first. You also ranked them based off multiplayer experience, which is what they are balanced around in the first place! It's refreshing seeing unique takes that I actually agree with.

DamianSamson-t8r: god moistcr1tical really needs to stop sometimes.

What did Maris do?

also rank the new

pancakeanati2590: i personally believe that if you want endless replay ability, playing with randoms is your best bet as it provides completely new challenges playing with people you have never met, and while there are always going to be bad experiences, my good experiences with randoms heavily outweigh the bad experiences with randoms. it also tests how you yourself are able to adapt and provide to the team as you might need to compensate for your team not being as good as you want, and in turn, could also result in yourself getting better at the game too.

vryyyx: I think the harder versions later this month will solve the lack of complexity for a lot of these bosses. Still though, bosses like Libra, Fulghor and Nightlord feel like an in-between of DS3 and ER bosses that definitely still hold up in solo gameplay.

viggen88: I personally really love Adel. The first time I beat him, me and my team were pretty underleveled, and didn't have any poison weapons. But even though we were dealing shit damage, we managed to survive and just barely beat him in the end, all 3 of us having made some incredibly clutch plays to save the fight at different points. These kinds of amazing experiences just makes me love bosses, even though they might be mechanically inferior to others

doolenny9458: Best boss is tough for me between heolstor and libra

Heolstor spectacle and lore is fantastic

But libra is just so perfect for nightreign with a awesome personality that would only fit a game like this

A moveset Petfect for coop

And insane presentation aswell

Can’t wait for special versions of both

someguythatdoesstuff7658: I vote Libra for Lord of Frenzied Flame. Midra is way too chill to be a Lord of Madness, but Libra got the SAUCE

ngianaedm: Bro all im saying I joined a PlayStation party with randoms for the darkdrift knight expedition, and actually had a blast playing with them fighting Fulghor. So many times we all almost died but someone (including me) came in clutch during crazy attacks, he’s easily one of my favorite bosses in soulsborne and that abyssal arm paired with that charge attack and erupting spears is truly a chef’s kiss

someguythatdoesstuff7658: Nightreign brought back my faith in FromSoft designing gank bosses.

Gnoster is the best duo boss they ever created. Better than Ornstein and Smough.

And the soundtrack is DIVINE!

FLASKKY_WS: I really appreciate the criticism to Heolstor tbh, the fight is amazing on a cinematic level but I don’t think he cracks my top 10 souls bosses the way I’ve seen so many people say he does
