ob_venom: Not sure if it was mentioned in the video, but a weapon EVERY class should be grabbing if found is the Grafted Blade Greatsword (colossal sword). The passive of it raises all your attributes for defeating enemies, ANY enemy. All those random guys you run past to get the boss in that area, kill them. Your health, fp, and stamina will be insane.

Revenant main here. If you want a good weapon for revenant just

1. look for seals that have discus of light, it's very good and can do a lot of damage plus it uses low fp.

2. there's a relic that restores fp on bow attacks, very useful once you are out of fp. and erdtree bow is best for her since it scales with faith.

3. sword of night and flame. scales with faith and intelligence

4. envoy's horn and envoy's long horn. it has fast and very good tracking now and also good damage

5. Prince of death staff with rancorcall or ancient death rancor

6. wraith calling bell.has VERY good tracking, good damage and uses less fp. can be found in graveyards i think and there's a relic that give you one in every expedition

7. cipher pata and coded sword. you already know what it is, it scales purely on faith

8. gelmir staff with magma shot or roiling magma. scales with int and faith

9. albinauric staff with oracular bubbles and great oracular bubbles. scales with int and arcane

10. seals with black flame incants, bloodboon, swarm of flies

11. ripple crescest blade. only scales with arcane but extra weapon won't hurt can it?

12. blasphemous blade and sacred relic sword. you'll use them not for melee but for it's weapon art plus you can contribute damage with it's melee attacks, be sure to not get hit XD

13. her main weapon is a fist weapon not claws so she benefits on a relic that restore fp or hp on fist attacks

14. give her relics that gives poison affinity and a relic that ups damage when someone is getting poisoned if you want a melee focused revenant.

15. golden epitaph, magma whip and magma blade

16. daggers with faith scaling on them like blade of calling, black knife and erdsteel dagger

juicegirl2696: If you already know the boss is lightning weak, it may be worth considering using a relic that changes your starting armament’s Ash of War to Lightning Slash. Just be sure to go to a cave or the crater to upgrade it.

novidchannle: For gaurdian one of the best things to get in my opinion is the passive "summon wraiths while walking". You can just do your bird gaurd and straif around the target and get massive stagger value and decent damage too. Bonus if you have the reflect deamage while blocking relic

GwynnieThePoo: For iron eye I always have bow in left hand and then keep a melee weapon with good ash of war on it in my right hand. The black knife is absolutely insane playing this way.

oOoSHEPARDoOo: As a Duchess main I can recommend one weapon in particular and that is her starting weapon but you need the relic of the 7th boss.

That relic gives your starting weapon Chilling mist which buffs your weapon with frostbite on use turns you invisible when something nearby gets frostbitten. Both effects are really strong on her because you basically can burst low hp targets with a frostbite ability AND it's super good to be invisible all the time so you can basically spam your dagger into bosses backs.

mxvivianwulf7019: For the revenant it's worth mentioning that she has decent arcane scaling so any weapon (preferably a quick one) with a debuff effect on it such as rot, frost, bleed, poison etc. is good on her. The weapon itself won't do a huge amount of damage but effects like bleed, rot and frost can do a LOT of damage - any weapon that scales primarily or purely off of arcane such as Eleanora's Poleblade or the ripple blade axe will also do fairly well. But she has S faith scaling and there are a tonne of weapons that have good faith scaling allowing you to do a lot of damage with them. Cipher Pata and the coded sword being the best of these with pure S faith scaling on them... but weapons like the blasphemous blade, any of the Gargoyle's "Black" weapons (not just gargoyles weapons), Golden Epitaph, the miquellan Knight's sword and many more have faith scaling on them allowing you to do good damage with these weapons.

Revenant doesn't have a lot of hp so being in close is dangerous it's true, use your FP and burn bosses with the appropriate spells to counter their weaknesses but... don't turn down a winged scythe or an Envoy's Horn because you can do a LOT of damage with their weapon arts and even just regular attacks.

patrickburke2187: As someone who has played guardian exclusively since the game has come out, Halberds actually are Guardian’s best weapon for a couple reasons.

First, Guardian is able to charge his Guard counter, but only while wielding halberds. Charged guard counters hit somewhere between 3-5 times (I haven’t counted them), with almost all of the damage being done on the last hit. Additionally, halberd weapon skills like charge forth or spinning slash also multi-hit. Lastly, Guardian’s R2 while two handing halberds hits two times.

I genuinely don’t know if any other character in the game makes better use of multi-hit-buffing effects than Guardian, and he largely loses access to this when switching to other weapon types.

This isn’t necessarily because he makes “more use “ out of the effect in a vacuum, but because so many effects indirectly synergize with it simply because of the way the guardian’s kit is designed.

For instance, if you get a perk that increases damage reduction upon block, blocking now makes it less punishing to go for a multi hit guard counter.

If you get a perk that increases damage negation while charging an attack, you now have easier access to multi hit guard counters.

If you get a perk that increases damage negation upon multiple hits, successful guard counters now improve your ability to tank.

If you get the perk that causes you to detonate in an explosion that deals holy damage upon successful guard counter (which causes almost every enemy to flinch, you have enough time to switch to 2 hand and go for an R2 after a successful guard counter, which attacks twice, will stack up your multi-hit effects even higher, and benefit from your multi hit effects more.

So pretty much any perk which improves blocking, poise, damage negation, health, or guard counters also directly improves multi hit effects.

Guardian doesn’t “scale” as well as a characters like Wylder, Executor, or Duchess if you’re only looking at things like base damage and stat scaling.

But Guardian can hit this sort of critical mass of relic effects and dormant powers in a way that no other character can really replicate, and I genuinely find that there are a lot of situations where that critical mass hinges upon one or two perks that “bring everything together”, and there are so many situations where that thing is some multi-hit-based effect, which is something guardian just can’t make use of with any weapon other than halberds.

Like I had a game where I had millicent’s prosthesis, improved stance breaking, hp restoration on consecutive attacks, Holy Damage on guard counter, and a Halberd with Spinning slash.

The Nightlord was Fulghor, and between Wylder and I, he got stance broke him like 3 times. Wylder would grapple in for the crit, and I would just sit there and spinning slash him during the whole crit animation.

I genuinely outdps’ed the Wylder and Ironeye I was playing with.

talon2162: Wakizashi doesnt work with duchess moveset and cant be power stanced with other daggers. It follows the katana moveset and can be power stanced with them. Also, the glintstone kris is amazing on her with her int scaling. Give her some fp regen on successive hits and she can spam that AoW without needing a staff.

Siepher83: Pulley Crossbow is cheap on non melee specialists particularly Revenant. FP on consecutive hit Pulley will help keep you casting in most if not all encounters and save you starlight shards.

Also, any bow that has Barrage FP on consecutive hit will feed into itself meaning elemental and status damage galore.

GrandpaDestruction: Moonviel might be insane for Duch and Rev.

Toclmi: Missed on Ironeye - Pulley Crossbow is a great weapon, better than a normal bow most of the time. I picked up a PXBow with Grafted Dragon, I was trucking everything on crits, proccing mark super fast, and smashed augur with it.

Fingerprint Shield has Madness buildup as well.

scottberger6721: Dutchess: Night of Lord Relic: 3 or 2 daggers in right hand. Switch daggers between combos. Really OP If you can get the buffs your affinity damage during runs.
