victorfalararo: On the Augur Boss fight you forgot to add that hitting allies that had sleep remove the sleep and tick damage. I did it just once didn't know if it's a bug or feature but it worked
Ripko: I really wish there were more frenzied flame weapons/items in the expeditions, I feel like there is still so much potential with that mechanic
joegallagher23: If you want to kill the Mountaintop Ice Dragon, not only must you grab the mountain buff. If you kill the headless trolls boss you can reduce frost build-up and damage, and if you kill the dragon boss you can get a permanent anti-dragon effect. They are both located near the base of the mountain, the troll duo on the South East Side and the Dragon slightly NorthWest of where the final area always spawns. Grabbing these 2 buffs will make the fight much easier.
codymuller5744: Something about souls games that newer players might not know is its usually better to dodge INTO the direction an attack is coming from. Some attacks have persistent hit boxes that will land if they detect collision with the player EVEN IF you dodge the initial few frames of the attack, so dodging INTO attack basically makes sure the attack goes all the way through your character while the I-frames are active and it allows you to play more aggressively
h33day: Another tip for Adel - when he eats a player, he will gain an attack buff. If you poison him, the buff will be removed when he vomits. The attack buff can stack as well.
Zantetsu13: Libra does not have any hidden penalties for the deals, it tells you exactly what it asks for each one before you accept and you can back out and pick a different one if you like. Some of the deals can make the fight a lot easier.
SinOfAugust: Libra’s deal “resist ailments” is actually pretty good for most chars. You get a bunch of status resistance (150?) which will help with madness procs, in exchange for 5% stamina. I think it’s the one good trade he offers, though not always available.
Also… “eventual greatness” is RIDICULOUSLY good if you are on comms. You take the deal and just idle around without starting the fight for 3 minutes till you lose the malus and gain the buff. 20% health and stam is incredible at any point in the game, and the downside is bypassed entirely. [edit: apparently it’s not as easily gameable - Libra has a ticking clock above his head that will start the fight regardless, nevertheless you can still draw out the timer and exploit the fact that the fight starts fairly slow]
dakotabarrett5585: Thought the grab weakness on Adel was going to be having your tank get eaten on purpose. Last night I played Guardian and ate bleed boluses along the way to day 3 and I would just jump in his mouth whenever possible. I would not bleed and he only did about 30% of my hp bar. Meanwhile my teammates could smack him the whole time. It pretty much turned every flask or ult use (since I have the healing relic) into 3 stuns on the boss for my two teammates.
jdawg86: ALWAYS get the extra flask upgrade from Libra before the fight if it’s available. It only takes off a tiny part of your health bar. It’s super worth it.
Komadena: love fighting Maris specifically as the recluse, if you wait till they do this one attack where they fly around spawning jellyfish for 30 seconds straight, you can use your ult to kill all of them and spawn 5000 damage worth of bubbles in one go absoloutely shreds.
Helgrind44: "What is it about frenzy bosses being peak?"
Truer words were never spoken
sinsofthelastdawn8942: Also, if someone gets grabbed by Adel, lightning damage instantly staggers the boss out of the grab.
jksmile777: Pro tip for Auger: purchase the relic with sleep resistance from the Jar Bazaar. You are now immune to its sleep attack. Feel free to run as close as you want and bash its head in. It makes this fight so much easier.
nathan8941: I love playing as Guardian in the Caligo fight! I know its not efficient but I feel so powerful when holding my ground with the shield as it blasts me with its ice breath at point blank. Such a fun fight!
urrigongreyjoy: Solid video, thank you.
I honestly never realized how my perception of the game has steathily been training me to not consider blocking.
j0hanno472: If you jump attack gaping jaws head when IT grabs somebody and is chewing them IT will stop the attack and save your buddy
VeracityHeredis: Okay, tbf the boluses one I actually didn't know about. So thanks for that, bud.
KogasaTatara514: Something important about Gnoster- Their stance breaks work differently than normal. You can't riposte the boss, but if you attack the moth enough while they're down, the moth can fall off and give you a longer stun.
thecomfyknight5594: Gotta disagree with the Libra "dont make any deals" sentiment, one that stands out to me, "I wish for eventual greatness" can be super strong, it temporarily lowers your stats, and then buffs them after a while, you just need to play defensive for a bit until it kicks in.
MakeshiftGent: Another pro tip for Caligo, as Iron Eye, if you save your ultimate for when she starts flying and spamming ice crystals at you, it will knock her out of the sky and she wont use that attack for the rest of the fight.
toastinghost1667: One thing I noticed people miss a lot in the Gnoster fight—
The scorpion has a weakness and unique interaction to ice. When you afflict frostbite in it, its carapace will ice over. The boss will stop moving, and 'bunker' down for a solid 10 seconds or so.
I believe it takes less damage during this time? But it can buy you an opening to heal up, res someone, focus on the moth or just better split them up.
JPJonesBSc: Characters I want:
Perfumer: So much law in elden ring, to a point they were growing a new Erd tree in the shadow realm. Already have the weapons in ER, they could focus on debuffs which would be a cool support play style.
Confessor: Crossbows and twin blades specialists, heavy with law, and assassins of other tarnished would make for interesting convo with iron eye.
Vyke: I want a frenzied flame character, and im sure they could come up with an original character, but, i'd be happy to get vyke. Frenzy need more love.
Finger maiden: Focus on buffs / heals / faith
Half wolf: Blaiid, maliketh... Vargram the raging wolf was on the path to becoming the GEQ's shadow bound beast. I would like to play as a half wolf specialised in colossal swords OR claws.
Tbow7414: Beat the Fissure Dragon on my first try. Fight was so epic and cinematic. This game did NOT disappoint. Can’t wait for the future updates
urtoryu_dy_althraidn: There is a LOT of very useful info here, so thank you a lot for it. The boluses giving permanent buffs in particular is something I would never have found out myself, so I'm really glad to learn that.
nonsocool8900: this has been a really helpful guide! is it possible you could make a separate video on the final boss for those of us who have managed to reach it?
