azkon7975: Having played so much Revenant, I have some interesting notes:

- Wielding Spiked Balls with her is absolutely hilarious. Spiked Balls are really good for almost everyone but I think only Executor can beat her in the Bleed Buildup department (or a Duchess hitting the Clock). The huge poise damage also means that Revevant can keep safe as long as there is Stamina.

- Skellybro is amazing, actually, if you know a few tricks. First, he likes to yell. This seems to work as an area taunt. If there's an encounter where there's a swarm of tiny enemies, Skellybro can taunt a majority of them. Second, since he is immobile, Warm Rock combos perfectly to keep him healed up if there's a bunch of tiny a-holes chipping him. Third, his big arm swing is basically a colossal weapon. You can keep a lot of mid-sized enemies flat on the ground if you take turns bonking them. Fourth, and best, Skellybro is amazing at Rezzing. If he starts yelling, that's an incredible amount of rez hits. He can basically rez 1 slice downed people by himself. Maybe even 2 slice.

- Revenant's resistances are INCREDIBLY high. I ran into the Augur fight with a generic resist talisman (and I don't remember if I ate any boluses) and I shrugged off the sleep move. It built up to 90% of the bar and then the boss stopped. I've confirmed this with other status effects as well. She takes a tiny amount of damage from Frenzy and the buildup is very slow. Death Blight takes forever to build up. Bleed buildup doesn't seem to move.

Notes on Revenant's Claws:

- Technically a fist weapon instead of Claw, lololol.

- Recommend always two-handing the Claws

- Pretty good poise damage

- Magic damage

- Doesn't bounce on terrain because it's spectral and stuff

- Doing early Mines for Purple Claws actually leads to pretty nice damage, if RNG has not been kind for a weapon replacement.

EDIT: ADDITIONAL NOTE!!!!!! - If you ever meet the Royal Revenant Mr. Hundred Hands Slappy Man while playing Revenant, use your Heal Incantation to bully him. I always hold onto the starting Seal for as long as possible just in case I meet them. I only drop the starting seal around halfway through the run.

EDIT2: Playing Revenant is pretty good for training the standard roll, haha.

In-Nihilum: Important note, if you stack 3 improved initial standard attack relics your performance with colossal weapons becomes viable.

To the point it becomes her best weapon lol.

Just swing, block cancel, repeat.

This is a 40% damage increase on any character for the initial swing, the bigger the weapon the better.

I got raider to do 600 dmg on the initial light attack when dual wielding purple colossals.

grimreaper8575: The golden order seal in her hands does ungodly amounts of holy damage. The discus of light is dirt cheap, is easily spammable, can hit twice based on your positioning, and has very good range.

Also, if you use a relic that adds magic damage to your starting armament, her weapon just gets stronger. Same with fire, lightning, and holy, but these split the damage between magic and themselves.

Her ult also stops her minions from dying and even unlocks special moves for each of them.

She can get a relic effect that restores her ult by a good amount everytime something dies. Finishing her quest provides a relic with this effect as well.

Her starting weapon is actually classified as a fist weapon.

This isn't specific to revenant, but all catalysts always have the same primary spell. Finger seals have rejection, godslayer seals have black flame ball, gravel seals have lightning spear, crystal staves have crystal burst, carion staves have carion slicer, you get the idea.

Royal revenants are still allergic to healing spells, which Revenant's starting seal comes equipped with.

mastervixron: Yesterday, I just soloed every Nightlord with all of the Nightfarers in the game, and Revenant is like somewhere in the top 5 for me. If I had to do it in order, I would go Wylder, Raider, Ironeye, Recluse, Revenant, Duchess, Executor, and Guardian.

raywilson641: For clearing the overmap, I've found that putting endure and frostbite on her claws makes it to where she can melee most enemies reliably. Just hit endure and trade blows.

This instantly stops working when you face the nightlord, however.
