ObZen9000: Not gonna lie, I feel like the "just smash your face against a boss until you win" tactic is the worst way to play these games. I'm glad you persevered, but I imagine you would have actually had fun if you did anything other than fight Margit right away. I'm of the opinion that if you get stuck somewhere for 30 minutes, it's time to do something else. Anything else. Imagine how many mini dungeons you could have cleared in however many hours you played, bringing the confidence and levels from beating multiple much easier mini-bosses back to the fight. Having just 5 or 10 more levels in vigor would have made that astronomically easier. I think your friends should have let you stop lol

benenoaa3288: Fair enough if you don't enjoy games, but man even in your first fight your reactions seemed natural. Was thoroughly impressed by the end. That was beautiful. And Danny really did pop off. The storytelling, the song kicking in at the end, the slow-mo ending. Would love to see more gaming videos as long as you can find some joy, but gonna be hard to beat this one haha.

ElbyHere: I mean, that was fun, and it is genuinely impressive as a non-gamer to beat a proper boss in, any FromSoft game really, especially so straightforwardly. I do 100% get the "just glad to be done" and "nothing has changed" feelings you had afterward, I've absolutely been there. I've also been on the other side, where I spent hours trying to beat a boss and enjoy it and feel glad I stuck it out, it really just depends on, a lot of things really. I could probably go on for a while about it, but all I'm really trying to say is: don't force yourself to play things you don't want to, but there are absolutely games you'll have a good time with if you go looking.
