samgoldsberry3029: Any build focused on damage over time(dot) is a waste because ads are usually melted in 4 sec and now that folks are cr517 bosses die inabout 30 to 45 sec at most. You will never see that extra damage benefits from arts that proc dots.

3thereal_King: One thing to add, your loadout isn't always bad or the wrong abilities, sometimes you just have them in the wrong order.

ronaldstanford1725: I just wanted to say this as well a lot of people come to DC and they think they're going to get OP in a week or a month and it just doesn't happen like that no matter how much you pay... If you got it to pay or not you're not going to be OP in a week or month just because you saw one of your content creators do some high damage numbers and you want to achieve the same thing.... They be coming with the wrong mindset sometimes trying to chase numbers and meta imo......

JacobCarther: Let me throw in some info that probably most ppl don't know nor haven't noticed cus they just socketed in arts. Specially when it comes to " synergy" and stats wise. For anyone to have a perfect artifact chain link . And by that I'm talking about the percentages be all green in all ur arts . So if u go to ur arts that u have equipped and one or two arts have 2 or 3 percentages highlighted green it means those stats are currently active but u look at the rest of ur arts and they are yellow or white it means that the stats on those artifacts aren't active and even tho u may have them at rank 200 the stats aren't green it means u have the wrong combination of arts.

But it's videos like this with people like you that I am grateful for, as it helps me massively. Like artifacts, I was (and still somewhat am) clueless about which ones synergize with what, but your videos have been helping. I don't have meta stuff, I don't want to follow "trends," I guess I'll call them.

I'm a simple guy who finally started to learn how to play things past lv30 and I'm at CR 121. It's not much, but it's far better than I used to be able to do. I just want to make a Nordic Shazam (which is coming along great) with my Electric DPS loadout that has a lot of DOT in it with some other stuff to deal consistent damage.

And I love how you don't try to go "Oh you HAVE to play it this way" because that is super refreshing, as I was worried everyone would look at me and be like "Oh you use Electric? Why aren't you using Super Conduct with 11 Iconic skills?"

Sorry for the ramble. It's just... Nice to see as it helps bring some joy back into this game for me knowing that you don't have to fit some kidna mold. Now if only I can figure out how to not run out of MP, lol.

Hexx_Iztenze: I changed a lot of my SP placement recently due to seeing the diminishing returns video, which honestly I feel more well rounded and I thank you for that.

I'm a bit naughty as I don't use many Tank arts on my fire tank. I'm mostly using Quis, Scrap, MERCY, Flute and Razor. I don't feel fire particularly needs all Tank focused arts and as I do a lot solo or just duo I like having stuff that helps with damage.

I've been told I should drop MERCY and Flute but MERCY seems useful it shields and heals my henchmen, Quis and Trinket Pet.

Flute does some damage with my Reignition Supercharge but tbh I just like the plague of rats aesthetic. Lol

ronaldstanford1725: I've been trying to tell some of these newer players this @Greg DeLuca because everytime I login they're always asking about skill points and what's this or that in this game, and me I'm helpful so I'll tell them the real... This game is about grinding and patience no DCUO player has ever just bought their way to the top, because this game has some mechanics that you have to learn as well. And everybody's builds are not the same yes there is a meta but you don't have to follow it to play and have fun in all the content on DC. People have this debate is it pay to win no it is not it's pay to progress faster than others who don't have a membership or don't have the time to play as much as others do, now if you choose to PAY to have the top iconics, allies etc then that is a choice..... But it is not required for you to play and have fun on DC let me say it again.....

scarbachi2445: Something that has helped me tremendously is LEARNING how to properly buy and sell things. A lot of people just see it as a possibility to get something that could be cool looking but when done correctly it’s actually much more! How to buy,sell and price something when you put it on the exchange can alter your gameplay. That’s something I see a lot of people having trouble with.

Vashdraven69: I like my arts bc i use soul cloak nem lasso shackles and razor i always have my mangle chains always up an going bc i get back half the super charge i use and i keep the remaining charge if i cut the ability short half way
