solareiusdeiu: we know how long. 1 artifact takes 6 months to grind for free to 200. if you consider the need of 5 arts maxed, it would take 2.5 years just to rank 5 artifacts. but 2.5 years later, they would already be irrelevant and not meta. making the all pay to win a real race against time, before something better drops. it is mathematically IMPOSSIBLE to win, without paying. so it is pay to win.

rockjm9876543210: The game was definitley more enjoyable when I was free to play and played casually. When I got high enough to run raids and joined a decent league that's when that constant engine of always wanting to keep up kicked in.

JoseLopez-to2mr: I totally agree to what you said here... And that's why I quit the game, for one l did sent my own money to built my character the way I wanted. But the cyberbullies ruined everything for me there. Here's the thing, l love my character to be celestial DPS/healer and I did just that and ran with a few people who love how my toon look and how l built his load out for Dpsing and healing. But l also ran with some people who stupid enough to listen to cyberbullies saying that I should be switching to tank. Like the cyberbullies and those who listen to them are going to pay me two thousand dollars for artifacts for DPS/tank to rise lvl 200 each? Are the cyberbullies and those who listen to them are going to also give me money to rise my allies as well? Are the cyberbullies and those who listen to them are going to pay my membership and etc.? The answer is no they are not and they definitely not going to play with me either, just talk bad rumors and lies to why l switch. Like you said in this video, DCUO is pay to win, not to lose. And the cyberbullies made me lose more time then once and I felt that l was losing money here and especially wasting my time. So I quit and went gaming elsewhere. Is it Joyable to play this game at 2026? My answer to that is a yes and no. To some people who has real friends there to help them out to move ahead is a yes. nerrad6173: I grinded this game 2wks ago after not playing it for years. A fresh account and start. Managed to get lvl 410 gear without advancing, thought i could try elite raids, but got DESTROYED. I knew my arts were not sufficient lvl enough, but those nth metals are just sooo hard to come by, i dont think i can lvl all arts to even 120. Currently thinking if i should buy 1 month of membership to get all the powers and inventory space.

Any advice you got?
