That said, there are screenshots going around on YouTube that seem to show you selling in-game items for real money. In the comments you usually say it’s fake, but you don’t really go into detail. Why not just address it directly and explain what actually happened? If the screenshots aren’t real, clearing it up properly would help. If they are real, then it would also explain why the ban happened. I get your argument that bringing players back increases revenue for the game, but if we flip that logic, running or promoting an unofficial real-money market could also take revenue away from the company. Even if people disagree with how monetization works, it’s still their platform, so it’s not surprising they would act on that. I don’t know the full story and it’s up to you whether you want to explain it, but from the outside it’s hard not to connect those claims with the ban unless there’s more we’re not seeing

esotericnightmares: tbh im not sure it's the criticism, its likely (assuming they arent faked, doesnt seem they are) the selling of in-game items like lasso n accounts etc on discord for real money. the criticism videos in addition to this IRL revenue sales issue probably didnt help, but the fact its taken so long and they aren't communicating with you, would tend to lean towards them having some proof of the $ sales (ie screenshots) and are trying to source additional info on the sales, who bought things, character names etc. I think blaming the videos is an over-simplification of things, the $ is a much larger issue to them imo.
