coltstod: With all of the videos being made about our favorite game being in dire straits, I've found this one to be the best in covering what it feels like to play the game in its current state. It's remarkable to me how much I was enjoying the game a few months ago (last wipe when 124 lobbies were still a thing) compared to what it is now. Hopefully, they can turn it around. Appreciate the video!

Drathrin: "I understand this season is a way to test gear" Bro how much copium do you have left? This entire games lifespan has been "testing gear" which insane flip-flops for years now. The game is a flop.

jacquesprimis: Its honestly sad, a lot of players thought patch 69 was bad, but this truly feels like the end with everything thats happening in addition to SDF's changes and contradictory statements, streamers quitting, and the exposing of IM staff to be jerks.

They had such a good concept and core and it sucks watching it slowly go down the drain.

Kenzi31323: IMO, the Hitbox damage scaling on the arms and hands is a good change, I think for the body, like torso and abdomen it should be all 100%. Why change it to anything other IDK, because that just makes combat more inconsistent.

The head being 200% tho is way too extreme. It should be 125 or 150Max, but the damage on all weapons should be decreased drastically, by like 10-15 damage and more.

JaqDraco420: The general HP in this game is just too low or the damage too high. Maybe the numbers are off but lets say all headshots, it should take at least 3-4 hits with a high damage weapon and approx 5-6 hits with an average damage weapon to kill a player but 2 or even 1 tapping is just a too harsh and brutal TTK as it makes fights just very hysterical 2-4 second encounters sometimes while they should last at least 10-20 seconds, if not even more, and I do not mean some door kiting, running away stuff I mean the actual close combat encounters.

And yeah, a looting extraction game without interesting loot - a miracle who ever thought this could be a good idea...

nemorianderson: As a "new player" that played a bit before this patch and doesn't have legendary status, I may argue that the great gear you found in the dungeon also kinda had no value. Let me explain.

For example you found 10/10 legendary gloves for warlock with all 4 rolls being great (when rolls were still a thing):

- You can't equip them cause you're playing rogue.

- You can't change your class or make additional character, because you only have one slot and in order to change class you have to delete everything.

- Your buddy plays warlock, but you can't give them to him, because you're forbidden to use trade platforms, and if you bring and drop it to him in the dungeon the goblin will automatically return them to you with "looks like your mate found your lost gear" and your only option is accept.

- You can't sell them to the players either, because your marketplace is "buy only" and you're unable to list.

- Your only option is to vendor them for 60 gold (while similar at market cost about 3-4k)

Okay, but what if you find great gear that fits you?

Well then it's a nice upgrade...

...for pve only. Because the only pvp mode available to you is normals, and you're forced to go there in squire.

Wanna play unrestricted - pay money for the unfinished game in early access with microtransactions and pay to win dlc. No thanks

indorilnerevar4408: The previous random rolls system went out of control with all this additional movespeed, true damage and all attributes. Just may be damage is kinda overtuned now? Like two times less would be better.

At the very moment gear system (character customization?) is needed to upgrade i believe, but a previous one was a mess.

Also getting us back solos and duos would be great.

PKMNTrainerKelly: i had some friends convince me to play this game, and no matter what kind of gear i found, no matter what rarity or how much damage it said the weapon did, i ALWAYS lost fights against literally everyone. i hit them in the head 3, 4 times with a greatsword? too bad, they're still alive and hit me twice in the chest and killed me. i have 1800ish hours in tarkov, i'm not a stranger to unfair deaths, but when it's happening literally every single match i play, it starts to get frustrating.

Just-the-Gameplay: Wet you were my fucking nemesis in arena during one of the seasons. I played a lot of rogue and you and HotKnives were always popping up in my games on the enemy team. My rogue is SkeletonChampion, though I dont play much rogue anymore. Was really only plagin rogue that 1 season when arena was SSF. Good times. GGs

CrazyFish0909: Also they nerfed druid and sorcener, that i was playing. Don't see much reasons for this. Sorc almost unplaible after nerf

ErickReyesHIT: I disagree with some of the points made in this video:

-For the 2-tap issue, you're talking only about getting headshots. During fights you're supposed to make this difficult by moving around. If you make someone else hit an arm shot you're 100% at an advantage.

-Halberds and bardiches, the way I see them, are way overtuned because previously the weaker weapons like daggers and rapiers were being hard carried by having 10 true damage on your gear. So they should see nerfs IMO. But it makes sense why they are the way they are with IM not taking their time to touch them.

-I think the gear is fine; I think most people are brainwashed by the old feel of the game where getting gear wasn't an advantage but became a literal necessity to play well. Now that you can defend yourself in squire gear people just aren't used to it and don't want to change their playstyle. Reminder that strength and physical power used to be the main way for certain classes like longbow ranger to make slow builds (which are more powerful now that you don't have extra move speed on gear); and Will now has much better uses as casters if you like 5 spell builds. It definitely isn't a problem, even if we don't have as much dopamine as before over looting people's kits.

-To illustrate the previous point, you could definitely survive an extra hit or two on better gear if you force the other player to hit arm shots a couple of times.

-Game progression is very important, however I don't think gear is the only way we can see this happen. Other games (especially games like Hunt Showdown, which you mentioned) don't rely on gear for progression, and they work just fine. IM sadly isn't good enough to adapt new systems on the fly, so I'm hoping this could change in at least 6 months if they commit to the changes.

I definitely think some things need to change, but I genuinely think this is the first step in the right direction since at least a year ago.

Solos and Duos being gone kinda suck, though. I'd hope they can improve on the handshake system to make it feel worthwhile to interact with people instead of the buggy mess it is right now, where you can hide a crossbow like you were spiderman shooting a web.

I wonder if this is the ruminants of the lawsuit they had, the discontent from the top down, holding on to what's left... no creativity.. No change.. Its the fiat standard poison. Sad.

hellcat1609: I am on and off the game since the first ever open beta, before steam. I always enjoyed the game but I don't know how they went so far off course. I came back again few days ago and immediately I noticed people just going with bardiche/halberd and one shotting me as a barb. Back in the day I could go with gray felling axe and sometimes I would get ganked, but often times I could clutch a 1v3. This was always possible in the game. But now I go 1v3 and the first guy with his first attack 1 taps me in the head. This is all gray gear both me and them. Seems silly...

personsomeone2760: I just feel like they can’t add anything properly. Every new class is overturned other than bard who not done, and now you can’t learn anything from fighting players when it ends in seconds, thank god pve is a thing or players wouldn’t know how it fight if they die from 2 arrows or 1 shot from a 3rd party barb. Also so glad you can't avoid players, I’ve had mutible people just kill their teammate for prior games
