scpOrigami: Literally revert the game to the last patch of Season 5. Gear was so unbelievably nice, MS only on boots, true damage limited but not unusable, and drop rates and gemming kept it low-priced and easily obtainable for people looking to jump into higher end pvp from PvE to normals to HR. I remember when we first saw the rolls for Season 6 and thinking "Why tf did we throw out the best gear system we ever had?"

tk20channel: He's doing things as if this is the 2nd month of the games lifetime. It's too late. You can't have a game out for 2 years with a dedicated player base and then F over 75 % of them. Even IF the end result is better, it will be too late. Most will have moved on and won't come back. Not saying it's impossible, but very unlikely. It's not just the game either, it's the relationship with the community. And this relationship has done nothing but had people file for divorce.
kolar: My group has completely moved on. We would do 3s almost every week and weekend. But the interruption to some of us playing solo or duo in-between which seems to offend SDF so much was too much for us to bother anymore.

austinnguyen6099: The systems in this game no longer work together. There used to be a fun gameplay loop of doing quests, crafting gear to mint it, finding gems, and testing minted builds in arena.
Now these systems either do not exist and are entirely broken and it gives me no reason to queue into the dungeon.

Allow me to ramble random ideas in OnePegs comment section because I can, these ideas imo should be incorporate together, not chosen between.
Idea #1 - Make items have a CHANCE of being enchanted, allowing them to have modifiers. However green and blue should have 1 modifier, and purple and legendary should have 2. The difference being higher rarities can support slightly higher max rolls than one another. Uniques and artifact can have 3 I guess. I’m not a huge fan of singular mega rolls on uniques tbh.
Idea #2 - Remove true damage, increasing usefulness of armor pen rolls and making additional the new “best”, without making peoples resistances feel meaningless. With this, REBALANCE CASTERS because its stupid how much they depend on true dmg to just work.
Idea #3 - Keep the squished lobby sizes, although goblin caves being solo only isnt a bad idea! Just saying.
Idea #4 - These alone should be more balanced than anything we’ve had in a long time, so now maybe start adding content such as weapons, spells, random events, level modifiers. Like fucking anything.

Sdf is trying to achieve something impossible. If you make every fight fair, then why loot? Why browse the marketplace? Why kill the bosses? It just cant be.
The most watched dark and darker videos are either ones where they run insane gear (like reposts old series) or the ones where they start weak and get gear (Red's zero to heroes). I am ASKING if this is the most popular thing in the game, why are we removing it?
Making it too opressive is a problem. We don't need ms on gear and NO more than 3 all atributes. But it is needed for the game.
When i played for the first time I wanted to get the Best gear, after 2000 hours this is still stands.
I think that this thrive is what makes this game awesome and adicting. Add this to how different classes benefit off different builds and stats and it makes a nice gameplay loop.
We don't need to remove it, we need uses for other stats. Make good but short duration abilities to make buff duration good for example. The way this could be utilized is the reason this game is timeless.
We need the worse stats and skills better. Make poisoned weapon smoke pot leave a poisoned cloud which scales off magic damage for example. This gives rouge area controll and allows him to utilize building magic damage.
The best weapon this game has added in this sense is the demons glee which allowed some crazy builds and magic usage for non-magic classes. This is the kind of things we need alongside new mobs maps and weapons.
I hope this makes sense to others reading and I hope that sdf can get that this game will never be balanced and that IS FINE. Leauge isn't balanced either but still has insane amounts of players, so why could we not have that?
