tnm_alien6320: I feel like if SDF doesn't reverse the latest update as far as the matchmaking goes, the game will die. This last update was single-handedly the WORST update in D&D history. I know they are trying to cover their ass on the Nexon lawsuit by forcing f2p players to buy the game to even really play now, but is betraying your f2p player base (Who will probably someday buy it, or another member of the D&D community like myself will typically buy them premium) really worth it? This mid-extended-season wipe is ridiculous and only serves to create an AWKWARD 1 month gap where A LOT of people aren't going to play and just wait for season 7, and some people will play but they aren't going to stick around for much because all of their hard work is just gonna get wiped in 4 weeks. People will try whatever the new fuckin items are and then probably just take off until season 7. I'm at the point where if I hear "Monk" one more time and don't see it in season 7, I'm going to start searching for a new extraction game. The amount of hyped shit that either got cut from the game or not released is fuckin astounding. On top of that, we are in EARLY ACCESS SEASON ALMOST 7. How fuckin long does it take for a studio to screw their head on correctly and finish a fuckin game? Steam is starting to crackdown on these Early Access studios for not delivering a finished product, stringing players along until inevitably the online-service-game dies. I say "ABOUT TIME". Iron Mace needs to be acquired by a more professional company and then SDF kicked out for his treatment of his staff, his failure to turn D&D into a long-term success, and the lawsuit that he caused his own company. This is the only way I see D&D lasting another 2 years. SDF = Step. Down. Fool.

OH YEAH AND THEN THE WATER MAP. So we are gonna keep splitting up the player base between even more maps and causing even longer queue times? Sick. If they don't add some sort of map-rotation system, similar to Apex Legends, I see another map being a REALLY BAD IDEA. Respawn found out the hard way that if you have too many playlists, the players split up more and the queue times go from 1 minute to like 6 minutes. I HOPE the "Water Map" is cool, but they are going to have to find some way to consolidate the player base for quicker matchmaking times if they have 4 maps, 3 game mode types, and then 3 queue types for High-Roller. Right now we have have 15 different playlists. 5 types of queues for 3 maps. Imagine how long things will take if we have 5 queue types for4 maps equaling 20 playlists?

It is completely normal for games to slowly lose players over time because of the rise of new games, but this is different. This is SDF betraying a lot of things he has said in the past, betraying a large chunk of his player base, betraying his staff, and ultimately kind of betraying all of the content creators IM has paid by tanking the game that they are paid to make content for. I have A LOT of passion for this game. Right now it's still my favorite, regardless of how things are going. I'm just so sick of watching this masterpiece get mutilated for a "vision" that needs a pair of fuckin glasses.
