Ofc they should've foreseen the fact that you can't possibly balance solo gameplay with rock-paper-scissors approach and they should've never introduced other game modes since with that decision they've condemned themselves to this outcome. People are either being vocally displeased to some classes being OP in solos or they are being equally displeased to the same classes being useless in trios. They should've realised this outcome and never made the mistake of shifting game identity from purely team-based experience. They are trying to correct this mistake by ripping this used-to-be-band-aid, but at this point it's a full on traumatic surgery. As you've stated that ship has long sailed, and there is no tell if the game can survive this crude amputation.

Instead, when they changed few numbers on some few weapons or perks back and forth, again and again, you were clapping your hands like a seal receiving a fish. To an outsider, this looks like a moron of a community and insult to their intelligence to be a part of this. I hope you'll keep holding the line when your numbers are crunched down to last few hundreds and be happy with the game nobody wants to play. AlphaMelGibson: As a mostly solo player, I was prepared for solo removal when they first hinted at it like a year ago or so and back then I thought "yeah, its the original vision for the game, I cant complain if they take it away..". But the way it happened now, with sdfs kitchen posts... no , I am mad! So many people are caught totally offguard, solo/duo is in for YEARS now. Many people wouldnt have bought this game if it wasnt for these modes. And if they bought it in the last 8-4 months they had absolutely no idea that this might happen. kyt2137: I suspect the reason for whites only on normals was new players with absolute no gear againts buffball or triple barbarian all blue true dmg and all atributes, cause I hear some people complaining, but in any case this was not the solution, this solves nothing for them cause they will still run into teams that know how to play the game when they are new, making the pvp learning curve extremely stiff

AdroitTheory: The beginning of the end was removing 125 from normals wipes ago. It's clear the development is entirely reactive, and the thing they are reacting to is "Nobody is buying our game." Unfortunately, their incredibly self-destructive solution is to squeeze the free-to-play players to spend money, by making the entire experience of the game worse. They have chosen, entirely of their own volition, to ruin the way most players will interact with their game. We got the carrot last patch, it's time for beating the dead horse with a stick.

Holy hell the amount of dumbasses trying to justify removing the most 2 played gamemodes, if anything remove trios (although I'm not advocating for this). A restaurant should always remove the things on the menu that sell less than the others, not the things that sell the most!

matt-z5j: They should just force it through with the trios only. I say that as someone with majority of play time in solos. Instead of having normals free and HR payed, they could give free accounts a few runs a day and payed unlimited.They need money for a live service game with 100 employees.
