Now if they're really going to do a second rebirth, players who go through the story now will have to hit this weird tangent story in 7.0 that won't fit in anywhere with a weird character that takes over your story, Wuk Lamat and 'SPEEEN LEEESTUN TUUU MEEE!". This is the MMOR PGI stuck with the longest, and I've been through so many of them since My first tried The Realm. But I don't even know where I would go now.

Tumpynurts: Been playing 14 since just before Shiva (Extreme) got released. I'm probably one of the more leanient people towards this game and the staffs decisions, but Dawntrail was mostly a slog even for me. I WANT to have hope for the next expansion and probably will still get it even through the negativity, but honestly it's the last chance for them to entertain me enough to keep playing. If they mess up then I'm out. Doesn't help that the servers are flooded with flaggots and messages promoting "LGBTQ-friendly" FCs that hate straight white guys like me, which really kills the community aspect of the game. I'm holding onto that sliver of hope, and just wanting it to not fall to pieces. If it breaks, then I'll just have to move on, unfortunately.

And then Wuk Lame had to reappear and I was already ready to throw the entire game into the trash. I struggled through it without skipping, which I never do (yes one of those), but it was so hard because the story was just so bad.

Everyone there should be cowering at my feet but it was like nothing of importance ever happened. Primals? End of Days? Blue Mage? nothing. Everything was Wuk Lame Wuk Lame and Wuk Lame - even crafters and gatherers do not escape the black hole that is her and it hurt so much.
