bendonatier: In regards to gunbreaker, and the future, I think the most telling thing is that we no longer have a 2 minute damage skill. For damage it has access to it's full kit on the minute.

cobbil: As a White Mage main, while these changes are not far enough, Holy HELL is that Plenary Indulgence change and giving us full Lilies is such a good move in the right direction.

muhannabasalem574: the 2 charges of gnashing fang doesn't make sense to save for every minute, you only have room for 8-9 GCDs depending on skill speed inside no mercy with 1 gnashing fang combo(3) lionheart(3) double down(1) sonic break(1)

in my opinion the second charge only exists to better align gnashing fang regardless of your skill speed since it's cooldown is reduced by it

lifeiaskedfor: At level 100 the gnashing fang conbo doesn't change. 90 and below what you said is correct though

Could be nice to always go into burst with a full kit.

RedJoker21: So the red mage sword combo from a distance is only under manafication. If you get 50/50 mana you still gotta be close to the boss

z4rd: GNB change reminds me of MNK getting "reworked" late in the expansion in the past. It's a copy of MNK's feature too so it's double odd.

Raika63: I feel like they have to do a lot of class changes to make fight design work with 2m windows to the point they are having to make jobs less unique. I'm not a fan.

falcontomto: Manafication only increases melee combo range temporarily.

RDMs still have to do melee combo in melee range when manafication wears off.

torusorus7803: Getting 2 gnashing fangs in a 1 minute is gonna feel kinda odd since you won't be able to get the full 2nd combo in even with fastbreaker

cheesytorso: Unusual combo of RDM main and swordfighter here. Zwerchhau is pronounced something like 'z work how' (with a softer K) really fast - at least to my midwestern accent. It's a German sword fighting term meaning 'thwarting strike'.

bolladragon: I'm going to try GNB for the patch stuff to test this all out. Those changes intrigue me.

techdeth: Wasn't planning in having to relearn my gnb rotation that hard today

revartillery9612: I think, at first glance the GNB changes are good. Nice QoL additions where the timing to get Gnashing Fang and the overcapping of cartridges is less strict while also letting you get the Lionheart combo every minute during the No Mercy 20 second buff. Double Down going back to 2 cartridges realigns the cartridge expenditure to where it was a few patches ago which is actually nice since the change where DD was made 1 cartridge was messing with my head, I'd commonly end up popping Bloodfest with 1 cartridge still loaded which wasted it. No longer need to deal with constantly checking to make sure I'm going into a Lionheart/No Mercy burst window with exactly 2 cartridges loaded, yay.

toadoda: Having played with the changes now that the servers are up, GNB feels lightning fast now. Double gnash after 1 minute feels surreal, and there's more pick and choose on when to gnash, making the job feel very unique. And staying true to GNB, it still vomits damage out like crazy.

NCISCherno: The red mage change (yes only some times) makes me lose what faith I still had in the FFXIV dev team's ability to make a decent game.

If that's a solution for a perceived problem, then yikes. Sometimes my sword reaches from here, sometimes it doesn't.

May be time for a changing of the guard to salvage something in this game. The homogenization and story breaking predictability of when dungeons and trials exist has gone on long enough.
