For example, sort of how bahamut and phoenix swap, I’d like to see the 3 gems also swap.

Ifrit -> ramuh (I like this pairing, because of how it converts primal melee to strategic magic, but both need the cast time… perhaps more dot focused?)

Titan -> leviathan (the combo-like nature of rocks crushing and waves could be very fun)

Garuda -> shiva (femme fatals both known for speed, but one devastating move)

*alternatively swap ramuh and leviathan, but it feels better to me right now

Even further into the future, I’d LOVE, if they focused perhaps on interweaving different summons together, like using Garuda or titan after ifrit does something else that’s special. Perhaps Garuda grants an instant cast on ifrits next cast. Or titan offers a guaranteed critical?

Tl;Dr - FF16’s philosophy could work beautifully here.

KraggFair: I'm still in the mid-90s so I don't have Solar Bahamut yet, but I still can't get over how much more engaging the job would be if Summon Bahamut and Summon Phoenix were two separate buttons, instead of alternating on the same button.

I love Summoner for its mobility and party utility, and I feel so stifled not being able to easily summon Phoenix when I want to (and not being able to easily save Bahamut to sync my burst window with the rest of the party)

I'm also eternally frustrated that Elemental Mastery, the thing that makes the three lesser summons actually meaningfully different from one other, isn't unlocked until mid-Endwalker
